Dec. 5 THE LATEST IP ISSUES RELATING TO INTERNATIONAL TRADE
Special luncheon program sponsored by the International Trade Association of Greater Chicago. Presentations by be five IP attachés and one IP specialist assigned to U.S. missions abroad to work on IP matters in the EU, China, Latin America, South East Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, as well as Dominic Keating, Director of USPTO’s IP attaché program. The attachés will provide insight on a wide range of IP topics relating to international trade, including the current international trade agreement and negotiation landscape, trade reports (e.g., Special 301 report, Notorious Markets report, and Investment Climate statement), and the IP enforcement environment in various countries (e.g., border and anti-counterfeiting efforts). 11:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Carlucci Rosemont, 6111 North River Road, Rosemont, IL.
